BMW M4 Competition Cabrio 2024

A BMW M4 Competition Cabrio arrived at One Way Detailing for a full colour-change PPF wrap combined with an overall styling refresh. The owner wanted to move away from the factory paint towards a deep, matte shade sitting between purple and navy blue, one that shifts character depending on the angle of light.

Before the film went on, we removed the front bumper and the panels that needed precise pattern fitting, and the paint underwent full chemical and mechanical decontamination. The entire convertible body was wrapped in a colour-change PPF film — a process that, on a cabrio, demands extra precision around the folding soft top, seals and tight recesses where an imprecise edge finish is easy to end up with. The film doesn't just change the car's appearance; it also physically protects the paint underneath from stone chips, scratches and UV for years to come.

As part of the styling work, we matched the black matte trim and wheels to the new body colour, producing a coherent, toned-down look without unnecessary contrast. Every panel went through a final inspection for edge quality, film tension and precision cutting around the lights, door handles and badges. The end result: an M4 Competition Cabrio that looks nothing like its factory version, while gaining full, long-term paint protection under the PPF film.
